Miss Pronouncer

A pronunciation guide for cheesehead utterances. A self-proclaimed halfway decent resource for learning to pronounce stuff in Wisconsin. There's people names, and place names, and trivia, and even indians casino names for northbound Chicagoans. I'm guessing Miss Pronouncer is herself originally from over down by Chicago. Now she does get Hustisford, Oconomowoc, Chenequa, Mukwonago, and even Ashwaubenon correct (and who ever heard or heard of Chequamegon anyway). But any self-respecting Cream City native knows there's no "L" when pronouncing Milwaukee; Waukesha is pronounced "Waukeesha", not "Waukisha"; and the syllable stress on Kinnickinnic is all wrong. I was also disappointed that Gerkes Corners, Louie Bashell, and Ponty the Pontiac didn't make the cut.
