The miracle that is duct tape

And the magic word is "duct tape"

The Associated Press this week revealed that since at least 2001 NASA has had protocols in place to subdue crazed astronauts (in orbit) with duct tape (it also helped save Apollo 13). Known in Scandinavia as "Jesus Tape", duct tape is a well documented restraint for unruly movie characters, airline passengers, children, and patients. The Duct Tape Guys claim to have the world's most exhaustive duct tape website and have written more than seven books about duct tape. The fourth annual Avon Heritage Duct Tape Festival and Parade will kick off on June 15, 2007. Avon, Ohio is also home to Duck brand duct tape. Duck Products hosts the Duck Tape Club; and annually sponsors Stuck at the Prom, a competition that offers a college scholarship to the person who creates the most stylish prom formal wear made from duct tape.
