Nerve and IFC have posted a compilation of the 50 Greatest Comedy Sketches of All Time. The list is limited to teevee sketches in English that are available via YouTube or its spawn. The selection is also biased by the fact that Nerve is a Liverpool-based magazine and IFC is either the Independent Film Channel or the Iowa Film Critics. Sketch comedy originated in vaudeville and while "Who's On First?" made the cut many other vaudeville classics did not, like "Slowly I Turn". The teevee limitation also excludes the motion picture antics of some famous vaudevillians like W.C. Fields juggling or The Marx Brothers on contracts.
There's a hundred sets of user submitted knuckle tattoo photos and the stories behind them. There's 4x4s, 8 Acrosses, Double Deckers, One Handers, and Thumbs. Alas, no Robert Mitchum.
